Configure square-area pricing

How do I calculate a cleaning price by square feet or square meters?

Open Square Area, choose sqft or sqm, then set the price and minutes per unit. Use this model when measured floor area predicts effort better than room count. Save and test with a different area.

Before you begin

Choose this model only when it matches how your team quotes and performs the work. Keep unrelated pricing switches off until you have a clear reason to combine them.

Configure it

Open Reservations → Cleaning Settings and select the matching card. Enter customer-facing prices and realistic minutes, then save the location-specific settings.

For each location, enable Charge for cleaning area, choose the Unit (sqft or sqm), then set Price per unit and Minutes per unit. Price changes the booking total; minutes change the calendar duration. Keep the unit consistent with the measurements customers provide, save the card, and test with two different areas.

Verify the result

Make a test booking for the same location. Confirm the displayed total, selected options, and available end time. If the amount is right but the calendar is wrong, review minutes rather than changing the price.
